Fully Accessible Rooms and Facilities

Picking the right room is a big part of having a great holiday. Here is a guide to the rooms at Sandpipers, including their many features and facilities, to help you make the ideal choice.

Revitalise Sandpipers offers full board accommodation on the shores of Southport Marine Lake. Take in lovely water views, go for a dip in the hydrotherapy pool or simply enjoy the newly refurbished R Club Lounge and restaurant.

At the end of the day, retreat to your fully accessible room. All en-suites have wheel-in showers and there are also two separate bathrooms for assisted bathing with hoists and bariatric equipment, and Arjo baths.

Location and Directions

Sandpipers is located on the north side of Southport’s Marine Lake, where the Promenade intersects with Fairway.

Directions to Sandpipers

Take either the M6 and exit at Junction 26 or the M58 and exit to Junction 3. Then follow the A570 and A565 to Southport. Follow the signs to the Promenade.

Once you reach the Promenade, continue straight and then turn left onto Fairway. In 472ft, you will reach Sandpipers. Please note, parking is available to guests free of charge.

The nearest accessible rail station is Southport and is a 5 to 10 minute taxi ride away from Sandpipers. We advise that you pre-arrange your taxi pickup. See below for taxi recommendations.

Excursions

Our Northern centre is within easy travelling distance of some of the country’s greatest cities including Liverpool, Manchester and Chester, each offering their own array of attractions. Sandpipers is also close to Blackpool and you can even spot the famous Blackpool Tower from the centre on a clear day! With such a vast range of excursions available, there is something for everyone and it is up to you what you see and do.

Activities and Entertainment

Whether you want a break to wind down, get lively or a bit of both, Sandpipers’ in-house entertainment will not disappoint. A variety of daytime activities will be available throughout your break and in the evenings — you can expect anything from music and dance acts to competitive quizzes or even a Friday night party! If you prefer a quieter pace, the first-floor lounge and bar area offers a stunning view of Marine Lake. Our fully heated hydrotherapy pool also gives you the opportunity to enjoy some gentle swimming.
